Who You Talk To
When you reach out, your request goes into a referral process. It is then passed to an independent provider in our network. That provider is a local business, not Rarelyroots Garage Doors. The provider is the one who visits your home, gives the quote and does the work.
We do not list people on this site. We would rather explain the steps so you know what to expect.
What a Provider May Ask You
A good provider will want details. Expect questions like:
- What is the door doing? Stuck, loud, crooked, or not moving?
- Did a spring snap or a cable come loose?
- How old is the door and the opener?
- Is the door wood, steel or another material?
- Has anyone repaired it before?
Older homes often need a few extra questions. Past repairs can change what parts will fit.
What You Can Ask Back
You are the customer, so ask freely. Here are some good starters:
- Can I get the quote in writing before work begins?
- What does the price include, such as parts and labor?
- Is the spring or track worn, or is it just out of alignment?
- Should I repair or replace? Why?
- Is there a warranty on the parts or the work, and what does it cover?
If you want a new garage door opener, ask which models fit your door and how it gets installed.
The Decision Is Yours
A quote is not a contract. You can compare, think it over, and say no. Quote in writing is the rule we encourage. If something feels rushed or unclear, pause and ask more questions.
